Why hello there!
I know what you’re thinking – it’s been a long time! A lot has been happening over the last month – I moved back to Dunedin and settled into postgraduate study – but I am beyond excited to reconnect with you all and let you in on what’s been happening in my life lately.
The big question on my mind for the last few weeks has been this: What are you doing for your mother this Mother’s Day? I know that for some people the answer to this is always simple: a nice card, a box of chocolate and maybe some flowers. But the reality is that for some mothers out there this is not going to be the case. Some families just do not have the means to celebrate their mother or show her just how much they appreciate her.
